Air Cured Dark

As is the case with Burley, this type of tobacco undergoes a slower curing process in a barn under natural conditions, without the use of heat. Depending on the characteristics of the leaf being cured and the curing conditions the resulting colour of these leaves can vary from brown to darker shades of brown. (Tan to Red.)

Nicotine levels range from 2.0% to 5% with an overall average of 3.5% in packed lamina.
